Lately gas prices have been reaching record highs in certain areas and is not expected to go down. One of the reasons why gas prices are on the rise is because of crude oil. they say roughly, for every dollar that the average 42-gallon barrel of crude rises, gasoline will go up by about 2.4 cents. When demand for gas goes up and the supply is not enough, then thats when the prices rise aswell. Also the reason why gas prices differentiate from state to state is because of its taxes.
